Since the creation of the Keith Brymer Jones Word Range over 25 years ago, the collection has grown to over 500 products including mugs, bowls, plates, serveware and table accessories. Every piece produced is expertly debossed with a word or phrase, then coloured by hand before being glazed and fired to produce a super-white, hard wearing, finish.
Keith started as an apprentice at Harefield Pottery aged 18 before hand-making ceramics from his London studio for retailers including Conran, Heals, Habitat, Marks and Spencers, Ted Baker, Laura Ashley, Monsoon, Bergdorf Goodman, Barneys New York and Anthropology.
The design stage of each new product starts on Keith’s potter’s wheel in his UK studio and once the perfect prototype has been created production takes place in China, a country with a deep-rooted history in expert ceramic production. Keith works closely with a team of highly skilled craftsmen to perfect the delicate production process, ensuring each mug, bowl or jug matches the same style and high quality of his original design.
